 Search Warrant

Entry #5 

This summer is going to be very different for me. My parents will be out of town for two weeks, so I will be alone at home for that time. I have many plans to not get bored. Now that my parents are not at home, I´m going to invite my friends to my house. I will sleep late every day. Except that I did not know that my parents would leave my neighbor watching every step I took. Finally it would not be what I had imagined but, I will continue with my plans. I will stayed alone because my parents were leaving. 

I called my friends next day. Even though my neighbor was watching me, I made a party with my friends. They were arriving at five in the afternoon. I told them they could bring whatever they wanted to drink or eat. Then I would not worry if I offered them something that they did not like as each one brought to their liking. I enjoyed the night, while my neighbor was worried. We drunk a lot of different beverages, we ate a lot of food. We laughed and sang, and them I don´t remember what happened next. I just know that a knock at the front door woke me up. Since I fell sleep I did not know what had happened. I tried to stand up but, I was very dizzy. I just sat down and trying to remember the night before. The only thing that bring me to reality is the disaster that is in my house. It is obvious that a party was made here, but there is no people here, just me. Another knock at the door made me remember why I had gotten up. I opened the door and I could not believe it. The police was in front of my house. My neighbor had called them. Other neighbors have told them we were consuming drugs and were some noise that were disturbing them. They told me that they had to enter to my house to look for any illegal substance. Even though they had a search warrant, I did not let them enter the house. I knew that if they found anything that got me in trouble with my parents they would never trust me again. There probably should be alcohol bottles and traces of cigarettes, which usually my friends use. I did not want to let them enter, but after a long discussion they went in and checked every corner. Three and a half bottles of wine in the kitchen and a box of cigarettes finished with my dreamed vacations. A fine for excessive noise late at night and my parents returning home in three hours of their failed vacations. Unforgettable failed vacations.
